Aim and purpose of the Southern Catalonia Information System

Aim

To determine the values of the regional innovation indicators set by the Regional Innovation Scoreboard (RIS) for Southern Catalonia.

Purposes

1. To compare the metrics of Southern Catalonia with those of other European regions.
2. To provide tools for making strategic decisions.
3. To monitor how each indicator evolves in comparison with other European regions.

*The Regional Innovation Scoreboard (RIS) is the regional version of the European Innovation Scoreboard (EIS), which measures the innovation performance of European regions and provides a benchmarking analysis.
